MEEKER — You’ve got a week to get it together for Valentine’s Day. That annual event when everyone who is part of a couple scrambles for new and different ways to express love and appreciation for the significant other and most of those who are alone wish the whole holiday could be stricken from the calendar. Maybe we should just call it “Chocolate Day” and forget it. That way no one would feel left out. Except people who are allergic to chocolate (is that possible?) and dogs.
