Meeker Recreation Center News: Nov. 6, 2008

n The Dance Academies recital will be Sunday, Nov. 9 at 4 p.m. in the Meeker High School auditorium. Everyone is invited to this free, very entertaining event. Please note the time change.
n Dance for ages 5-10 will be held on Thursdays, Nov. 13-Dec. 18, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Cost is $15. Participation in this class qualifies students to participate in future academies.
n Morning Star Tone, a new water and land fitness class, began Nov. 3. The class is held from 5:30-6:30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. New participants are welcome. Layne Pearce is the instructor.
n Three studio fitness classes began this week: Have-a-Ball, Pilates and Body Pump. There are options for mid-day or evening and Monday/Wednes-day or Tuesday/Thursday classes.
