Fifth-grade students at Meeker Elementary School entertained a large group as they transformed into famous people as part of the Night at the MES Museum on April 11. From the 1500s and Pocahontas to 2011 and Steve Jobs, the students portrayed the famous person they had studied. In addition to their outstanding performances, the students also collected coins to be donated to the charity of their choice. The community’s gracious museum donations raised more than $250 for the Meeker Animal Shelter.
