James ‘Jim’ E. Norcross

James (Jim) E. Norcross, 89, of Chandler, Ariz., passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018.
Jim and his wife Jeannine moved to Glenwood Springs in 1980 where he was the western slope sales representative for the National Federation of Independent Business. They later purchased The Gift Shop located in the Hotel Colorado. They changed the name to Teddy’s Corner and relocated the shop to downtown Glenwood Springs where it operated there for many years.
When Jim’s health turned, he and Jeannine moved to Chandler, Ariz., where they resided until his death.
Survivors include Jeannine, his wife of 52 years; sons, Barry (Jane) of Redlands, Calif., Danny (Kathy) of Yucaipa, Calif.; daughters, Jill Dunbar (Dale) of Meeker, Colo., and Toni Hanson (Clark) of Chandler, Ariz.; sisters Wonlyn Chapman (Ron) of Cottage Grove, Ore., and Weltha Jean Coffer (Dub) of Yucaipa, Calif., along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A private memorial will be held in California later this summer.
