Obituary: Jerry LeBleu Sr.

Jerry LeBleu Sr., 72, a longtime resident of Rangely passed away Friday Feb. 12 at the Rangely District Hospital.
During his life in Rangely he was active in the Elks Lodge. He enjoyed working for the town of Rangely, Moon Lake Electric as well as a driver for the Panther school bus. He enjoyed going to car shows. He also worked as a EMT and was fire chief for the Rangely Fire Department. In the wintertime, he would fire up his snow plow and go all over Rangely clearing sidewalks for people. When he was younger he liked to ride in rodeos.
He is survived by his sons, Jerry Jr. (Danielle), Jeff (Teresa), and daughters Brenda (Kent) Ahrens and Megan LeBleu. He is also survived by a brother, Bobby, and sisters, Pat (Dave) Harmon and Lonnie (Rick) Kendall. He also enjoyed his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Melvin and Yvonne LeBleu, sister, Joretta Paige and brothers Royce LeBleu and Paul LeBleu.
Services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at the Rangely Christian Church. He was buried at the Rangely Cemetery following the service.
