Obituary: Joyce Rawlinson

Joyce Rawlinson, Strawberry Creek rancher, passed away at Pioneers Hospital on Nov. 15, 2011.
He was born to Jim and Ruth Rawlinson in Flagstaff, Ariz., on Mar. 21, 1930. He married Marie Fickle on Jan. 1, 1955. He is survived by two brothers Jim (Marilyn) and Bob (Cindy) of Arizona, his wife Marie, and several nieces and nephews.
Joyce was graduated from Meeker High School in 1948. He worked for Rio Blanco Road and Bridge for 36 years before retiring in 1994. He spent the last four years of his life at the Walbridge Wing under the excellent care of Dr. Krueger and the staff. Per his wishes he has been cremated and his ashes have been scattered at the ranch where he wanted. A memorial will be held at a later date, also per his instructions.
