Juanita (Allene) Millsaps Anderson, 82, of Rangely, died April 9, 2009, at the Rangely District Hospital.
Allene was born Sept. 11, 1926, to Cleo and Ada Orr Moore, the oldest of five children in Montrose, Colo. She grew up helping her dad and mom raise sheep on the Uncompagre Plateau. She attended the Oak Grove School.

Roscoe left her behind Nov. 26, 1976, to go help prepare her home in heaven. Mom continued to work at the school until her retirement. She loved helping with the AWANA kids at the church after her retirement.
She married her second love, Oscar D. Anderson, Oct. 20, 1996, after almost 20 years of being alone. Oscar and Allene moved to Grand Junction in September 1998, where Oscar resides in the home. She is also survived by three of her children: Barbara (Jonathan) Daniels, Bonnie Hartman, and Boyd (Iris) Millsaps, all of Rangely; three grandsons, Christopher Daniels, Nathan (Rebecca) Millsaps, and B.J. Millsaps; one sister, Shirley Roady and one brother, LeRoy Moore.
She is preceded in death by her parents Cleo and Ada, sisters Dorothy and Peggy, son Ben Millsaps, son-in-law Ron Hartman and a very special friend, Tina Rector.
