Political meet and greet set for March 7

MEEKER I Dee Weiss will host a meet and greet with state and local political candidates Sunday, March 7 at the Fawn Gallery in downtown Meeker.
“Some of the state candidates will be here,” Weiss said. “And we’ve invited our local people who are running.”
The event will be held from 1-3 p.m. and is co-sponsored by Avis’ Village Floral, which is located next to the gallery.
While Republican gubernatorial candidate Scott McInnis won’t make it, his wife, Lori, who is from Meeker, is expected to attend, Weiss said.
