Public invited to rangeland training workshop

MEEKER — The White River Conservation District in partnership with the Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative, USDA-NRCS, U.S. Forest Service and BLM is conducting a free workshop to demonstrate what federal rangeland management professionals look at when making decisions on rangeland.
The workshop will be mostly in the field, we will visit sites on Forest Service, BLM and private land. The workshop runs from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. June 26-27. Participants will meet in the morning at the White River Conservation District office at 351 Seventh Street both days.
