MEEKER — The 123rd annual Range Call Celebration parade awards were received by the following entries: best animal, Meeker 4-H Marvelous Mutts; best antique tractor, Kevin Nye; best classic auto, Joe Holeyfield; best commercial, Valley Motel; best equestrian, Meeker Drill Team; best float, Meeker Massacre Dancers; best historical, RBC Historical Society; best horse-drawn, Anson Excavating; best musical, Blast from the Past band; best non-local, Moffat County Fair Royalty; best walking, Pioneers Medical Center; best youth, Faith Baptist Church; most creative, The Mild Bunch; and best of show, First National Bank of the Rockies.
The Range Call Celebration started because of a rodeo and is the oldest annual rodeo in the State of Colorado, performing for 128 years, with two professional rodeos in 2013. Related
