Ben Morgan met with a painful accident July 20 while lassoing an unbroke horse at the Morgan boys’ ranch.n Meeker will now have two blacksmith shops within its limits. Coached by Jack Elder, the Rangely roster includes Rex Baker, Kelly Brown, Randy Burchett, Mike Clark, Paul Edwards, Bryan Fairchild, Todd Getz, Mark Hayden, Tom Haas, Ed Long, Jim Pacheco, Jerry Patton and Tom Staley.

The first ever Columbine Racing Association Paramutual Racing Meet concluded at Columbine Park this past weekend. During the four days of horse racing, attendance totaled approximately 2,000 people from Colorado, Utah and Wyoming.
