n According to the Glenwood Post, that popular resort town is “pulling” hard for the proposed Meeker-Rifle railroad.
This shows that Glenwood people are wise. With White and Grand rivers connected by railroad, people from this section would drop a good many dollars in Glenwood each year. We are rather partial to the hot water.
n Thornburg is getting to be quite a gay metropolis these days, notwithstanding snow-drifted roads.
n “The day of cheap land has passed away.”
n Under the direction of the town authorities the ice gorge which has formed in the river, within the town limits, was dynamited during the week.
n H.L. Grinstead has bought the Rio Blanco restaurant property and had workmen renovating it for opening Monday.

n Aliens have January in which to register.
