Senior picnic set for Aug. 7 in Meeker

MEEKER — Are you 55 years or older? Then you are cordially invited to the annual senior picnic hosted by the Town of Meeker mayor and board of trustees. The picnic is Thursday, Aug. 7 at the Meeker Town Park Pavilion at Fourth and Water streets. The event is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The town will furnish barbecue beef, pork, chicken, beverages and table services. Bring a covered dish if you wish, but if you can’t, please come anyway.
