Motivational speaker Chris Bowers inspired Meeker Elementary and Barone Middle School students Monday as a part of the schools’ health program. MES’s Vicky Tate put together the program with funds from White River Electric Association, Pioneers Health Foundation and Rio Blanco County Abstract.

Bowers entertained the kids with a message about the value of being yourself, the power of inclusion and even if you can’t control what happens, you can control how you respond.
Bowers kept the kids engaged and laughing for the 45-minute programs.
