Spirit keepers …

The cheerleading squad at Meeker High School has started its second year as an unfunded sport. The lack of funding has not affected enthusiasm or the number of girls out cheering for the Cowboys. The team will host a car wash at Sullivan Car Wash on the corner of Ninth and Market streets this Saturday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Cheering this year are (bottom row) Alexis Gutierrez, Stephany Joos, Nicole Hilkey, Lexie Meszaros, Jessica Moyer and Caitlyn Shepherd.
