MEEKER — Mose McPhail will offer a winemaking class at 7 p.m. April 23 at the recreation center.
“This will be a starter class,” McPhail said. “I want to show people what they need to make wine. The reason we’re doing it now is because this summer is when they need to be picking the fruit to make wine. You can make wine out of anything, plums, chokecherries, elderberry …”
A follow-up class will be held in the fall, when class members will go through the process of making wine.
There’s no charge for the winemaking class. For more information, call McPhail at 878-4314.
