Screenings begin March 2 for county children through age 5
RBC — It’s Child Find Time. Horizons Specialized Services, in conjunction with Rio Blanco BOCES, the Department of Social Services, County Health, Aspen Dental Clinic and Columbine Medical Clinic, are all getting together to screen our young children ages 6 months to 5 years in Rangely and Meeker.

Funeral mass set for McFarland Tuesday
A Funeral Mass for Betty Lou McFarland will be celebrated Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the church. Contributions may be made to First National Bank of the Rockies c/o Betty McFarland Memorial Fund.
Deadline for county survey is March 1
RBC — A community survey was distributed to all households in Rio Blanco County in late January in an effort to collect information for the update to the county’s master plan. A total of 2,675 surveys were mailed and, to date, 400 have been returned.
