MHS Drama Club’s hilarious “Thoroughly Modern Millie”
MEEKER I The Meeker High School Drama Club and International Thespian Society Troupe 1284’s production of the musical comedy “Thoroughly Modern Millie” was presented on Friday and Saturday at Meeker High School auditorium.

Michael Lavon Block was born to Lavon and Tanara Block of Rangely on April 11, 2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo.
All-state football
The 2013 Colorado 6/8-man all-state football game will take place May 31 at La Junta High School’s Tiger Stadium. Rangely’s Chas Byerly was nominated by league coaches and selected to play in the game showcasing Colorado seniors.
Old Timers: Pioneers Assoc. dinner, dance set for June 8
MEEKER I “This is what I heard…” and the story begins, passed from generation to generation. “Stories of the White River Valley” is the theme for the 101st annual dinner/dance of the Rio Blanco County Pioneer Association (Old Timers) on June 8.

Change of venue for the Viz-Ability group
RANGELY | Meeting times and locations have changed for the Rangely Viz-Ability Support Group, organizers have announced. Meetings will continue to be held the third Monday of the month, but at the Radino Center and the meetings will begin at 10:30 a.m.
