No RFQs from potential general operators received for Meeker Adventure Center
MEEKER I Meeker’s Urban Renewal Authority (MURA) opened the Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) received for the Meeker Adventure Center project Tuesday. Ten RFQs came in before the July 10 deadline. Unfortunately, none of the RFQs were from entities qualified to serve as the general operator for the center.

Rodeo stock provider’s arrest not expected to affect Meeker Summer Rodeo Series
EDITOR’S NOTE: Bucking Bulls and Outcast Production is the company that has been providing the rodeo stock for the Meeker Summer Rodeo Series. According to Meeker Mayor Regas Halandras, the ongoing investigation into the Farris family is not expected to have any negative impact on the rodeo series.

Two wildfires have ignited off County Road 23 near Rangely.
