60th anniversary…

Dale and Pat Jens are celebrating their 60th anniversary. They lived in Meeker for 35 years, moving here in 1958.

Dale taught music at Meeker High School for 18 years, teaching band, choir and extra-curricular jazz band, dixieland band and dance band. He loved the high school students. After retiring in 1976, he had Jens Construction, designing and building homes, etc. Pat worked with the U.S. Forest Service, Blanco District, retiring…
