Moyer to travel to Germany with 4-H Youth Exchange

Kelly Moyer, a 2006 Meeker High School graduate and a recent graduate of Colorado State University, will travel to Germany for six months with the International 4-H Youth Exchange. The International 4-H Youth Exchange (IFYE) program is an in-depth learning experience in which 4-H alumni live and work with host families in other countries to increase global awareness, develop independent study interests, and improve language skills.
Upon her return, Moyer will give presentations on her experiences with German culture to schools and community groups across Colorado. Leaving June 20, Moyer will stay one month each with six families in different regions of Germany. Her first stay will be in southwest Germany, on a family farm with 25,000 turkeys and 200 acres of crops.
