MEEKER — Bill and Michelle Smith of Meeker are this week’s “home of” honorees. They have lived in Meeker 11 years. The Smiths have been married 16 years.
Bill is the facilities and maintenance person for the Meeker Recreation Center. Michelle is an administrative assistant for Barnard Pipeline.
The Smiths have five children: daughter Kirstie, 15, is a sophomore at Meeker High School; twin sons, Scott and Alex, 13, are seventh-graders at Barone Middle School; daughter Jordan, 12, is in sixth-grade at Barone Middle School; and son Jake, 11, is a fourth-grader at Meeker Elementary School.
The family enjoys hunting and camping. Michelle likes to shop.
When asked what she likes most about Meeker, Michelle replied, “Small town and friendly atmosphere.”
