Reclamation board meets May 14-15

RBC — The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board will hold its monthly meeting in Denver Wednesday and Thursday, May 14-15 at 1313 Sherman St., Room 318, beginning at 9 a.m.
The board will hold several public hearings on mining operations in Colorado. Questions on specific agenda items can be addressed by contacting the Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety at (303) 866-3567.
The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act requires that anyone planning to conduct prospecting or mining operations in Colorado must file for a reclamation permit with the Mined Land Reclamation Board.
The board was created in 1976 to carry out the mandates of the Mined Land Reclamation Act. The board works with the division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety to enforce reclamation laws.
