Letter to the Editor: Farewell, Thank you

Dear Editor:
It is with both sadness and excitement that I am writing this letter. With sadness we are leaving Meeker to move back to Texas. I would like to take a moment to say thank you to this wonderful community. When my family moved here four years ago, the people in this community welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home. The people of Meeker are exceptional! We have made many great friends and Meeker and its people will always hold a very special place in our hearts!
With excitement, we are moving on to the next phase of our lives. We feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to be closer to our families. Zachary is very excited that he will have both sets of grandparents nearby!
So, while bittersweet, as we embark on this new journey, we want to again extend a big thank you to this community which we will always consider our second home! We are so very blessed to have lived in such a great place surrounded by exceptional people if only for a short while!
