MEEKER — Ah, “mud season,” that additional season enjoyed — or endured — by Meeker residents, has made its appearance between snowstorms. Judging from the quantity of snow remaining in yards, driveways and certainly at higher elevations, this spring promises to be an especially mucky one. For all you newcomers, there’s a legitimate reason Meekerites consider knee-high rubber boots an acceptable fashion statement.
