The Meeker varsity volleyball team wore pink shorts in honor of October being national breast cancer awareness month in their homecoming game against the visiting Hotchkiss Bulldogs last Friday, which the lady Cowboys won in three games. Meeker beat Plateau Valley last Saturday and Hayden Tuesday to remain undefeated in league matches at 7-0. Meeker will host Paonia this Friday. Playing varsity for the lady Cowboys are Bailey Atwood, Katie Dinwiddie, Kacey Collins, Aly Ridings, Piper Haney, Jordan Brown, Amanda Kendall, Taylor Neilson, Kaysyn Chintala and head coach Christy Atwood.
