Letter to the Editor: Reader against jail on school site

Dear Editor:
My wife and I believe it will be a mistake to transfer title of the old school with the intention of building a jail in the middle of our town.
The beauty of our small town would be much diminished with a jail at that site.
It is our feeling this is a very myopic view and should be put to vote.
Surely the citizens of Meeker deserve better town planning than this hastily arrived-at decision.
