Volunteer training for hospice-type care

MEEKER | HopeWest of Meeker is excited to host a volunteer training for “end-of-life” or “hospice-type” care. Training is offered Friday, Oct. 11 from 5-8:30 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The training will be given by HopeWest of Grand Junction (formerly Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado) at Richard’s Hall (adjacent to church) at St. James Episcopal Church, 368 Fourth St.
