Sign up for the Parade of Lights

MEEKER | Preparations are under way for the second annual Parade of Lights, which will be held on Dec. 6 at 5:30 p.m. in downtown Meeker. The event, which is being sponsored by the Meeker Chamber of Commerce, will feature a tree-lighting ceremony, the Meeker Elementary School Choir, the VFW Color Guard and then the parade, which will be followed by a fireworks display. This year’s theme is “Merry Meeker Lights.” If individuals or groups would like to enter a float in the parade, they are asked to call the Meeker Chamber of Commerce at 970-878-5510.
