MEEKER I Vivian Brown and Hailey Knowles of the Meeker Cowboys girls golf team played 18 holes in a cold and blustery Craig, Colorado, on Monday.
“The girls are playing really well.” said head coach Amanda Back. “Even in all the layers of clothing they both did so well despite how restricting it was.”
Knowles, in her first year of golf, shot a 110 and Brown shot a 112.
The rest of this week and next the team looks to practice in order to get ready for their next tournament on May 10 in Grand Junction.
