Letter to the Editor: Trying to spay and neuter dogs

Dear Editor:
We are Katie Lockwood and Deana Wood of Meeker. We are trying to help raise money for the Meeker dog pound’s spay and neuter fund.
We have been given permission to put jars that say “Pennies for Puppies” in stores and restaurants around Meeker. Deana and I want to thank all of those generous store owners for letting us put our jars in their businesses.
