ARRESTS
62 yr. old male arrested on a failure to appear warrant on 11-21-22 by Rio Blanco Sheriff’s Office

39 yr. old male arrested on domestic violence and assault on 11-21-22 Rio Blanco Sheriff’s Office

39 yr. old male arrested on harassment and child abuse on 11-21-22 by Rangely PD

25 yr. old female arrested on harassment and child abuse on 11-21-22 by Rangely PD

All the above arrestees were granted PR bonds on 11-22-2022 by Magistrate Shamis

CALL SUMMARIES

11/21/2022 @ 5:56 pm. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the area of Shults Dr. in the town of Meeker. It was reported that a vehicle was parked in the area and people were pointing as if they were planning something. An officer responded and canvassed the area and was unable to locate. The same vehicle was located later in the officer’s shift and was contacted. It was determined that it was a minor driving with his father.

11/21/2022 @ 12:31 pm. A male party was arrested for domestic violence that occurred on the east side of Rio Blanco County

11/21/2022 @ 8:39 pm. Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office assisted Rangely PD with a disturbance in the town limits of Rangely. Two people were arrested.

11/22/2022 @ 12:26 pm. Instead of a vehicle hitting a deer, a deer decided to run into a vehicle near the intersection of Highway 64/ County Road 102. The driver was not injured.

11/23/2022 @ 3:56 pm. An assist was requested from somebody that had high centered their ATV near Sleepy Cat. The owner of the ATV was instructed to contact a tow company but was able to get the machine moved on their own.

11/23/2022 @ 16:45 pm. A utility theft was reported at an address in the town limits of Meeker. The homeowner chose not to press charges.

11/27/2022 @ 6:06 pm. A vehicle vs. deer crash was reported at approximately the 45 mile-marker on Highway 13. One occupant of the vehicle had minor injuries.

11/27/2022 @ 9:06 pm. An assault occurred at a residence in the town limits of Meeker. A male party was subsequently arrested.
