62 yr old male arrested on 12/31/22 for a Failure To Appear warrant will be advised on 01/03/23
CALL SUMMARIES
12/25/2022 @ 9:41 am. A report of people walking around with rifles was given to a Meeker PD officer. Upon the officer’s arrival, he did not see anything suspicious.
12/26/2022 @ 4:15 pm. A semi-truck was called in for a traffic complaint on Highway 13. The truck was reportedly all over the road and crossing the double yellow line several times. Both Colorado State Patrol and Meeker PD followed the semi and were unable to observe any violations.
12/26/2022 @ 6:00 pm. A disturbance on the eastern side of Rio Blanco County was called in to the Communications Center. There were no weapons involved however drugs did contribute to the incident.
12/27/2022 @ 3:40 pm. A vehicle rolled over several times at approximately the 45 mile marker on Highway 64. The single occupant and 3 dogs had no injuries.
12/28/2022 @ 7:57 pm. A Search and Rescue was initiated at approximately 11:00 pm. for several parties that got stuck in the Piceance area. The parties were located at 2:00 am and transported back to their camp. No injuries were reported.
12/31/2022 @ 6:52 pm. A disturbance in the town limits of Meeker was reported regarding 2 parties that were refusing to leave the residence. Male party fled on foot and was not located.
There were several vehicle slide offs throughout the county this week due to weather conditions.
