36 yr. old male arrested 1/11/23 for Domestic Violence/ Harassment. Male was granted a PR bond on 1/12 by Magistrate Shamis.

1/8/2023 @ 12:44 am. A driver slid off the road in the town limits of Meeker to avoid hitting a deer. No damage or injuries were reported.
1/9/2023 @ 9:21 am. Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office picked up an inmate from the Mesa County jail and transported to Moffat County jail.
1/9/2023 @ 3:41 pm. A former employee of a local RV park was reported to have stolen over $10,000.00.
1/10/2023 @ 9:16 pm. A semi hit a large rock on County Road 5. No injuries were reported; however the semi-truck didn’t fare as well.
1/11/2023 @ 11:33 am. Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office assisted Rangely PD with a male subject that was refusing to leave the residence after a domestic violence situation. The male party was ultimately arrested without incident and taken into custody by Rangely Police Dept.
1/13/2023 @ 9:58 am. A caller reported that a helicopter had been flying low in the area County Road 7 for a couple of days. The helicopter was Colorado Parks & Wildlife doing wildlife counts.
