HopeWest and Community Hospital to host conference

HopeWest, in collaboration with Community Hospital, is proud to announce the Western Slope Hospice and Palliative Care Conference scheduled for Feb. 23, 2024. This exciting event is  designed to provide a comprehensive educational opportunity for healthcare  professionals, focusing on hospice and palliative care, advance directives, and  effective management of specific symptoms.

Conference Schedule Highlights:  

– Keynote sessions from renowned experts like Dr. Crystal Owens, Dr. Phil Ramos,  and Dr. Ellissa Tiller  

– Topics covering updates in dyspnea management, palliative pain management,  communication skills, and more.  

– Specific sessions on advanced directives and the management of behavioral  disturbances in delirium and dementia. 

The Western Slope Hospice and Palliative Care Conference is primarily aimed at  area physicians, physician assistants, and nurses.
