Letter: Meeker Elementary PTO says thank you

The Meeker Elementary Parent Teacher Organization would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the businesses and private citizens who donated their time, money and supplies to the PTO this year. The PTO was started in August of this school year with the goal of helping support our elementary school staff and students with funds for projects and activities that may not have otherwise been possible. This past year the PTO was able to provide funding for two assemblies, the Denver Zoo and the Emerald City Opera, as well as providing snacks for the CSAP testing, volunteer help for the book fairs and additional classroom money for supplies. None of this would have been possible without our volunteers and generous donations. We are looking forward to a wonderful year next year and would like to encourage parents and teachers of pre-school, kindergarten, and elementary age students to join our meetings. The PTO meets once a month during the school year to plan fundraisers and discuss new ideas for how we can enhance your child’s elementary experience. Look for a letter from us next fall for our new meeting place and time. If you are unable to volunteer but would like to help, please send a donation to Meeker Elementary School PTO, P.O.
