MEEKER I The weather continued to cooperate Saturday as the Meeker High School cross-country boys participated in the Basalt Invitational with the boys finishing sixth overall.
Held at Crown Mountain Park, the course was a mix of grass, dirt trails, and sidewalks. The grass at the start was thick and slow, and a number of sharp turns on the course certainly slowed the pace a bit. However, the boys had a good showing anyway.
