The welcome banner that went up over Market Street was taken down shortly after installation out of safety concerns after the poles appeared to be warping at the top and separating at the base. Uplift Meeker is in contact with White River Electric and SGM Engineering to discuss how best to move forward. The banner project is the result of multiple years of discussion and planning by various organizations as a way to help promote downtown businesses and area amenities and to advertise local events.
