MEEKER | The stakes are getting higher for bull riders taking their chances at the Meeker Summer Rodeo Series. Thus far, no riders have finished a ride this season, boosting the winnings by $3,000 next week for a lucky and/or talented rider.
Results from the July 18 rodeo are as follows:
#12 Team roping – Clay Reynolds/Levi Allen
#8 Team roping – Keni Labrum/Clay Reynolds
Dally ribbon roping – Levi Allen/Owen Jones
Open Breakaway – Keni Labrum
Ladies Breakaway – Ripley Bellio
Jr. Breakaway – $34 rolled for next week
Open barrels – Ripley Bellio
Jr. barrels – Tacey Toon
Bulls – $3,000 added next week
The July 25 rodeo starts at 7 p.m. at the Rio Blanco County Fairgrounds. Admission is free.
