ARRESTS
9/29/2024- A 26 year-old female was arrested by the Meeker PD for violation of protection order and transported to jail.
9/30/2024- A 38 year-old male was arrested on a Rio Blanco felony warrant. He was transported to jail and bonded the next day.
CALL SUMMARIES
9/29/2024 @ 06:08 am. A single vehicle rollover occurred at mile marker 45 on Highway 64. Both parties were pinned inside. They were extricated from the vehicle and flown to area hospitals.
09/29/2024 @ 03:19 pm. A one vehicle crash occurred on Market Street when a gas meter was hit and snapped off. Atmos Energy was notified and the gas to the meter was shut off. No injuries were reported.
09/30/2024 @ 08:05 am. A verbal disturbance at Barone Middle School was reported. The reporting party asked for help to have the parent removed from the school. By the time the Meeker PD arrived, the parent had left.
10/01/2024 @ 09:03 am. A land owner came to the Sheriff’s Office to report a trespass when he found a truck and trailer parked on his property. When later contacted by phone, the land owner stated he figured out it was an outfitter that he had made prior arrangements with. No trespass charges were pursued.
10/02/2024 @ 10:33 am. A theft was reported of some tools and other items stolen by a former employee. The case is still under investigation.
10/03/2024 @ 08:23 pm. The Meeker PD responded to a disturbance of someone trying to break windows with a big rake. A relative was called and was able to pick up the unruly 61 year-old.
