Meeker Cowboys rip Grand Valley 52-0 for Homecoming victory

Freshman quarterback Logan Hughes held the snap for senior Raul Lopez who kicked an extra point after the two connected on a 44-yard pass for a touchdown. Lopez caught two passes, both went for touchdowns. The first, on the first play of the game, was thrown by starting quarterback Jake Phelan, who helped his team earn a 38-0 lead in the second quarter before handing off the snaps to his younger cousin Hughes.
