The Rural Schools Project, as part of the RBC Historical Society, is pleased to announce that one of the RBC Historical Society members has put up a $2,500 challenge grant for the restoration of the Coal Creek School.
The challenge is to individuals or businesses, not a member of the RBC Historical Society.
Donations of any amount, even $1, can be made to the White River Museum or sent to Rural School Project, 5967 County Road 6, Meeker, Colo. 81641.
Please specify the check or cash donation is for the challenge grant.
Coal Creek School will be 125 years old in fall 2017 and we hope to have it restored by then as an educational and interpretive center.
