RBC | On Feb. 20, 2025,, a state court judge granted MedRide, a Medicaid service provider since 2018, the opportunity to once again offer non-emergent medical transportation (NEMT) to Health First Colorado patients.
The Temporary Restraining Order allows MedRide to resume NEMT services for a 14-day period. Members who need to schedule NEMT services for dates after March 6, 2025, should be aware that this order does not authorize MedRide to provide services after that date.
The state and MedRide are continuing to work toward a long-term solution, according to officials.
