ARRESTS
2/22/2025- A 31 year old male was arrested for DUI and Careless Driving by Meeker PD. He was transported to jail and released on a PR Bond.
2/16/2025 @ 1:22 pm. A resident was given a summons for illegal burning in town on 13th St.
2/17/2025 @ 8:52 am. A one vehicle accident occurred at approximately the 12 mile-marker on County Road 8. A couple trees saved the vehicle from going further down the embankment and into the river. No injures were reported.
2/17/2025 @ 2:18 pm. Snowmobilers became stuck on Trappers Lake Rd and needed assistance getting out. Search and Rescue was notified along with Garfield County Sheriff’s Office. Ultimately the two men were able to get out of their predicament on their own. Search and Rescue was canceled.
2/18/2025 @ 3:42 pm. A one vehicle accident occurred when a truck rolled over in the middle of Highway 13 near the 58 mile-marker. The driver was transported to the hospital. Colorado State Patrol is investigating the accident.
2/22/2025 @ 4:07 am. A male party driving a truck that became high centered on a rock was called into the Communications Center. The driver of the truck was arrested for DUI and taken to jail.
