ARRESTS
2/25/2025 – Meeker PD arrested a 52 year old female party with an out of county warrant. She was relayed to the Rifle City Limits for Rifle PD to take custody of her.
3/2/2025-Rangely PD arrested a male party on an out of county warrant. He is currently in custody.
3/2/2025-Rangely PD arrested a 35 year old male for 1st degree criminal trespass. He was released 3/3/2025 on a PR bond.
3/3/2025- Meeker PD arrested a female on 4 charges of 2nd Degree Assault. She remains in custody.
CALL SUMMARIES
2/23/2025 @ 1:19 pm. Meeker PD was dispatched to a loose pig on Lance Cir. The pig was transported back to its home in the patrol car.
2/23/2025 @ 4:47 pm. The two motorcyclists that had been causing several complaints in the neighborhoods of Meeker for a couple days were located by Meeker PD. They were advised to take their motorcycles home and not to drive them again.
2/24/2025 @ 4:47 pm. Road and Bridge was called to remove several rocks on the roadway near the 27 mile-marker on County Road 8.
3/1/2025 @ 10:47 am. A vehicle was stolen from an address on Garfield St. The suspect was known to the vehicle owner as his son. The vehicle was returned about 30 minutes later.
3/1/2025 @ 2:08 pm. Some unlucky citizens got stuck in an elevator at the Meeker Firehouse. 20 minutes later they were rescued by the Meeker Volunteer Fire Dept.
