ARRESTS
3/5/2025- Meeker PD arrested a juvenile male at Meeker High School on a warrant for Failure to Comply. He was taken to the Department of Youth Services in Grand Junction by Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office.
CALL SUMMARIES
3/2/2025 @ 12:17 pm. Morning walks were being ruined for a caller because of a baby deer that was deceased and half eaten.
3/3/2025 @ 10:38 am. A one vehicle rollover injury accident occurred near Rio Blanco Lake on Highway 64. The single occupant was flown to a hospital from the scene.
3/3/2025 @ 3:51 pm. A female party became agitated with civil papers that were being served to her and requested to be taken to the hospital. At the hospital she assaulted a nurse and two police officers. She was ultimately taken to jail.
3/4/2025 @ 7:42 am. A one vehicle rollover occurred at the 65 mile-marker on Highway 64. The single occupant was taken to the hospital. Highway 64 was closed for a short time. There were a total of 4 car vs deer accidents this week. No humans were injured as a result.
Going through old boxes of records, a records technician came across a case of a stolen freezer in the 1980’s, the evidence retained was what appeared to be Popsicle sticks with melted Popsicle residue.
