Water Conservancy District seeks input on water needs survey
Dear Editor:
The Rio Blanco Water Conservancy District (RBWCD) is excited to invite you to join us in an important project—a county-wide Agriculture Water Needs Survey. With support from the Colorado Office of Just Transition Grant, we’re eager to connect with rural landowners and agricultural water users like you to hear your thoughts and experiences.
Your insights are incredibly valuable in helping us understand and meet our community’s water needs. The purpose of gathering this information is to:
• Assist water users in maximizing their water rights for present & future water needs
• Learn the impacts of droughts and water shortages on your operations
• Understand the potential to improve agricultural productivity
• Help us learn opportunities for water conservation
• Support planning efforts for the benefit of the agricultural community
• How a firm water supply will quantifiably benefit water users
There are multiple ways to participate:
• Stop by and visit Alden Vanden Brink at the RBWCD office located at 2252 E. Main St. Rangely, Colorado.
• Give Alden a call at 970-675-5055.
• Send Alden an email at [email protected]
