DINOSAUR | David Ormsbee, grandson of Bob and Gloria Ormsbee of Dinosaur, was promoted to the rank of master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force on June 4, 2026.
Ormsbee is currently stationed at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. During the promotion ceremony, he received his certificate of promotion from Maj. Andrew Blazier, commander of the 5th Maintenance Squadron.
Ormsbee comes from a family with a strong tradition of military service. His father, Robert Ormsbee, retired from the U.S. Army after 25 years of service and now serves as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary. His stepmother, Maj. Michaela Ormsbee, serves as a safety officer in the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary.
