Thanks from the Wagon Wheel OHV Club
Dear Editor:
To our community, the Wagon Wheel OHV Club extends its sincere appreciation to our community, local businesses, Bud Ridings with Search and Rescue, the team at the National Forest’s Blanco Ranger District, and Rio Blanco Emergency Manager Rich Garner for their generous support of this year’s Poker Run event.
At the beginning of 2026, the OHV Club went through a complete leadership change, giving us only six months to plan and coordinate the event. With limited experience organizing an event of this size, we went to work—and we could not have asked for a better turnout or stronger support. We are proud to say the money raised from this event will go toward trail maintenance, signage, scholarships for local graduates and toward our event next year.
We would also like to thank the community for its patience and courtesy toward our OHV riders throughout the event. Your feedback is important to us. Whether you participated in the ride, joined us for the raffles, or simply saw us out and about that day, we would appreciate hearing your thoughts on how the event went from your point of view.
Please reach out to us through our social media, attend one of our monthly OHV meetings, or stop by our booth at the Meekerpalooza to share your feedback.
Again, we cannot thank our community enough for helping make this event such a success. We look forward to seeing everyone out enjoying our beautiful trails.
Be safe out there!
Sincerely,
Wagon Wheel OHV Club Officers and Board Members
