Cowboy gridders end season with loss in second game of Colorado state playoffs

Meeker High School football coach Shane Phelan said he “appreciated each one,” of his seniors and the effort they have given the past four years. Meeker senior captains: Jacob Nielsen, Zachery Medlin, Conner Pfister, Dillon Frantz, T.J. Shelton, Devon Pontine and Kash Atwood, played their final football game in Starbuck Stadium on Saturday, as they lost to Resurrection Christian in the quarterfinals of the 1A Colorado State football playoffs.
